If I could, I would sew all day. And since retirement for me is a few years away, I will continue to sew and cross stitch and craft in my spare time. What will follow in the days ahead will be pictures of the projects I am currently working on and maybe even some projects I have completed. To my family who will be reading this...remember the cheesecloth ghosts that took up the floor of our living room? My form was a bent hanger with a softball entwined hanging from a kitchen chandelier. Cheesecloth was dipped in starch and hung overnight to dry. The ghosts sat on newspaper on the kitchen table waiting for black felt eyes to be applied. ...........Hmmmm.....maybe I could make them again....for the grandchildren....

Summer project 2008 - This project might not involve sewing, but I think it deserves to be included in my blog... Railroad ties removed.....digging the ditch to slope away from the garage... tarp to keep the dirt from washing through the stone wall and laying the foundation. The pallets...
